Wedding ceremony. Is it just a wedding routine or not?
When you finilize all the legal points of the ceremony connected with the civil registry office it's time to think about the essense of the process itself.
What would be important for you? Would you like to have the ceremony in a more funny or heartfelt and touching way? What about wedding vows?
I alaways discuss with the couples the whole process of the ceremony starting with an appearance on the ceremony to a conclusion.
We may use some unusual ideas connected with sound or video content. This means there're no any borders.
Generally the ceremony may consist of several main issues, but they could easily be modified. I prefer to make a programme close to the following:
1. The bride and groom appearance (their walk to the ceremony area). Here we may use some music to make it more personal.
2. Groom's story.
3. Bride's story.
4. Their love story beginning.
5. Personal part (including vows or questions or speeches).
6. Ring exchange (if needed).
7. Kiss.
If you have a multinational / multilingual group of guests it would be brilliant to use some hints for their better connection with one another and with everything happening on the venue. Here we go with them:
1. Use lots of visual content in every point of a wedding praty.
2. Prepare some printed texts for the most important elements of the ceremony.
3. You may also use dual-language ceremony (preferably choosing one main language to avoid emotions' loss and saving some time on translation).
Using some material stuff could be a great idea too. What could it be? You may bring some things connected with your love-story or with your childhood. There's also an interesting option to use some traditional ideas like a wedding knot, for example.
And finally, just don't be afraid to try. That is your day to remember!
